Cead Mile Failte! -- Gaelic for 'one hundred thousand welcomes!'

Isaiah 25:1, one of my favorite Life verses

Welcome to my Celtic Castle, the noble house of O'Smolláin-MacDhádhoc .... Shortly after the tragic events of Sept. 11th, 2001, this web site was born .... With 9/11 in mind, I designed this site to honor all human beings, and I will tell you that I am an openminded, openhearted Christian who loves learning from other religions, cultures and philosophies, yet I am someone who emphatically follows Christ ... So if you are offended by tolerance & understanding, and lest you "judge" me for not following a "Christian only" view here, then I would suggest that you exit now -- I truly believe that "for God so loved the World", and if He loves the whole World, then so should I.

I believe my God would have me extend my friendship to all who enter into this Castle, and that's exactly what I plan to do ! ... Therefore, every visitor to my web site -- regardless of race, religion, nationality, political affiliation, sexual orientation, etc. etc. -- will be "met with Grace and treated with Dignity", as a reflection of the Heart of Christ.

Now, with all of that being said, let's move on to navigating my website ... You will find Lady Dorothea's Celtic Castle divided into three (3) sections: To read a small collection of short stories about my Irish heritage, my family, a few special childhood memories, my thoughts on religious tolerance, and my faith, Begin by clicking here .... You will also find the The Castle Library in section one, with a large collection of articles on Christianity & the World religions, Irish/Scottish/Celtic history, folklore & mythology, classic art & literature, science, philosophy, the Tuatha de Danann, political science, poetry, and the like.

In section two, you will find Celtic Castle Designs, which features all graphics created by me using the following software and plugins: Paint Shop Pro versions 7-9, Super Blade Pro, Ulead PhotoImpact & Art Texture, Eye Candy, Almathera, Redfield filters, Virtual Painter, and others -- I offer bordered backgrounds (many of which have a celtic/medieval/fantasy theme), adoptable single award graphics & award sets, a special group of Celtic and Medieval/Fantasy-themed adoptable award graphics, linking banners, small buttons, and over 2 dozen bars-n-lines page dividers .... I have also added three pages of symbols of the Christian/Jewish/Pagan/Major World Religions, which I've made into verses and small plaques .... These graphics are free but are linkware back to my site.

In section three, you will find The Rose Awards (opens into a new window), my awards program which seeks to honor and reward diligent web designers across the Net .... Please note that The Rose Awards program does not "give away" awards, but they must be earned in a series of points-building, with a chance at 5 levels of the award.

I am honored to have you as a guest, and I pray many blessings upon all who pass through my Castle doors! .... Beir bua agus beannacht, (best wishes), and Sith agus Slainte' bha (Peace and Good Health to you!), Donna O'Smolláin-MacDhádhoc (Lady Dorothea)

"Whenever I dream, it seems I dream Of Erin's rolling hills,
Of all its lovely, shimmery lakes and little babbling rills.
I hear a Colleen's lilting laugh across a meadow fair,
And in my dreams its almost seems to me that I am there.
O', Ireland! O', Ireland! We are Never far apart.
For you and all your beauty fill my mind and touch my heart."
